I traveled to these areas looking for the the best stone surfaces in the world. And I found they were being made in near Venice with technology that didn't exist in the United States. I wanted to change that. I traveled to Italy, studied what the world's top manufacturers were doing, and made a decision: we were going to bring that technology home and manufacture a product that architects, fabricators, and designers in America had never had access to before.
